Nick Rados Car Accident, Arlington County, VA, 19 yrs old boy identified after a deadly Crash in Tara-Leeway Heights: The Arlington County Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a deadly automobile incident that happened early on October 12, 2024. Brooks Bare, 18, of Arlington, Virginia, was charged with DUI/Involuntary Manslaughter and Breath/Blood Test Refusal. He is being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.
Police and firefighters were summoned to the 2200 block of N. Harrison Street around 1:58 a.m. for a report of a single car crash. Upon arrival, medics quickly began providing help to a passenger suffering from life-threatening injuries and transferred him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. He has been identified as Nicholas Rados, 19, of Arlington, Virginia.
According to the preliminary inquiry, Mr. Bare, the vehicle’s driver, was travelling northbound on N. Harrison Street when he collided with numerous parked, unoccupied automobiles on the side of the road, causing the vehicle to overturn. According to the findings of the on-scene investigation, alcohol is thought to have played a role in the crash.
The striking car had five occupants: the driver and four passengers. One passenger was transferred to a nearby hospital with minor injuries and has since been released. Medics assessed the other two passengers and the driver on the scene.
