After a man’s body was found on a conveyor belt at a recycling centre earlier this month, New Jersey authorities are investigating. Employees of a Republic Services recycling plant in Farmingdale reported seeing the remains while material sorting on September 4.
New Jersey police identified the victim who assed away as 35-year-old Nicholas Holsten. Still, investigators have not revealed the events behind Holsten’s body being on the conveyor belt. Law enforcement is working hard to compile more information while the inquiry is still under progress.
A Republic Services spokesman said Holsten was not employed by the facility. Friends and relatives have acknowledged their loss, saying Holsten was originally from New Brunswick and will be much missed by all who knew him.
Police are asking anyone with pertinent information to come forward and help to unearth the specifics behind this sad event as the inquiry goes on.
