Nicholas Feathers Obituary, Death; – A man has been charged with second-degree murder following a deadly shooting that occurred in response to a burglary in progress call in Sullivan County on Sunday. Ronald Wayne Price, 31, residing on Buffalo Road, faces additional charges of reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased as 28-year-old Nicholas Feathers. Price is currently being held at the Sullivan County Jail without the possibility of bond. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the fatal shooting that took place on Sunday.
Officials reported that a 911 call was received shortly before 11:00 a.m. from the 300 block of Buffalo Road in Bluff City. As deputies were en route to the location, the caller informed them that shots had been fired and that the individual attempting to enter the residence had been hit by gunfire.
