Nicholas Davine Obituary, Death; – A man was fatally shot early Saturday morning on the West Side of the city, according to police reports.
The Chicago Police Department indicated that the incident took place shortly after 4 a.m. in the 1100 block of South St. Louis Avenue, within the Homan Square neighborhood. Authorities stated that the victim, a 30-year-old male, was standing on a sidewalk when he was hit in the chest by gunfire.
He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The Medical Examiner later confirmed the identity of the victim as Nicholas Davine. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, including the origin of the gunfire, and the authorities have not yet disclosed any information regarding potential suspects.
