Nia Reed Death – The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the woman killed in a crash on Linwood Avenue. Nia Reed, aged 33, was named as the victim of the accident that occurred on Sunday, May 26.
The incident took place around 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of Linwood Avenue and Parker Street, located in Shreveport’s Caddo Heights area. According to the coroner’s office, Reed was driving southbound when she lost control of her vehicle, which then veered off the road and collided with a light pole.
Reed was promptly transported to Ochsner LSU Health, but she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 2:52 p.m. An autopsy has been ordered to further investigate the circumstances of her death.
