NEW YORK, NY — Early Saturday morning, the New York City Police Department responded to a scene at 2211 Frederick Douglas Boulevard. Officers arrived at approximately 3:15 AM following a 911 call reporting an unconscious male at the location.
Upon arrival, police found a 40-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with head trauma. Emergency Medical Services promptly transported the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was pronounced dead.
Victor Springer, a 35-year-old resident of New York, has been taken into custody as a person of interest in connection with the incident. He is currently charged with second-degree murder.
