Absolutely shocking, heartbreaking news – that my former athlete @neil_currey died today…taking his own life. My last/best memory of him was this smiling face after he won New York Pro and fulfilled his lifetime dream of qualifying for the Mr. Olympia. I am lost for words and filled with pain and sadness. My sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. RIP Neil and God bless your soul, Sarcev Milos wrote

Who Was Neil Currey?
34-year-old Neil Curry was born and raised in the United Kingdom. Neil was hugely influenced by the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Flex Wheeler, and Phil Heath, among other legendary bodybuilders. When Neil was young, he developed a deep interest in physical activity. From an early age, Neil made regular trips to the gym to work out. He quickly became enamored with lifting weights. After realizing how much interest there was in football at his school, Neil decided to pursue a career in the sport.
Neil might overcome his ignorance of nutrition and diet by challenging himself in the weight room. As a result, he was able to increase his muscle mass. At the 2017 World Championships, Neil competed for the first time and placed fifth in the professional muscle division. From that point on, Neil was determined to achieve even more success for himself.
A year after he first entered the NPC, Neil Currey began competing. In 2018, he demonstrated his extraordinary ability on the bodybuilding stage by taking first place at the NPC Worldwide Amateur Olympia Italy events. After finishing in third place at the Puerto Rico Pro in 2020, Neil Curre had a thrilling 2021 campaign that brought him even more attention. In August of 2021, Neil placed second at the Tampa Pro.
To gain muscle bulk without jeopardizing his fitness gains in the gym, Neil plans to gradually increase his calorie consumption during the off season.
