(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good Saturday morning, and welcome to the weekend!
The forecast is going to be a bit warm today, with high temperatures climbing near the 80 degree mark! Despite the warmth, we actually will not be seeing a lot of sunshine today. However, a strong southwesterly breeze today will be the aid in getting temperatures to rise quickly through the afternoon.
Wildfire danger remains elevated today but will start to decrease for Sunday and into early next week due to much-needed rain chances.

Sunday will start with a few showers, but most will remain dry until the afternoon hours. That is when another round of showers and storms will move into the region. Expect a brief downpour or two on Sunday afternoon and evening, possibly a clap of thunder as well. High temperatures will rise into the low to mid-70s on Sunday!
We will be tracking a strong cold front for Monday, which will bring the potential of strong to severe storms to the region on Monday afternoon. There is still a lot of uncertainty on how this severe threat will materialize. Just keep an eye to the sky on Monday, as severe storms will be a possibility during the afternoon. High temperatures will remain in the 70s to begin the work week.

The rain over the next three days won’t be a complete soaker for the region, but most will likely see around half an inch of rainfall. Anything helps at this point!
Expect clearing skies and dry conditions for Tuesday, with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Clouds and rain chances will make a return for mid to late next week, along with 80-degree high temperatures!

Today: Mostly Cloudy, Warm & Breezy. High: 80.
Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Mild. Low: 60.
Sunday: Scattered Showers and Storms, Breezy! High: 75.
