A Virginia man shot and killed a 19-year-old who was cradling a baby. He was then taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder and felony child endangerment.
Following an alleged episode of road rage on Fairlea Court, Lynchburg resident Cash Guido was shot and murdered by Nathaniel Lee Pridemore, 33, of Lynchburg, Virginia.
During their investigation, police also discovered a deceased female at Pridemore’s home in the 1400 block of Tunbridge Road.
On Monday, September 30, 2024, at 3:45 PM, the Lynchburg Police Department received a call regarding a shooting in the 100 block of Fairlea Court.
An adult male victim of a gunshot wound was sent to Lynchburg General Hospital upon arrival, where he subsequently passed away from his wounds.
Nathaniel Pridemore was recognized by the police as a suspect and was taken into custody.
It became clear from the investigation into this occurrence that Pridemore’s home needed to have a welfare check performed. An adult female was discovered dead when the 1400 block of Tunbridge Road was checked for welfare.
Pridemore shot and killed Cash as he was cradling a baby, according to Guido’s family.
