Nathan Doody, Tyler Memory Death – Two individuals lost their lives after accidentally falling into a manure tanker at Champion Farm in the Town of Kirkland on Thursday, June 13. The Kirkland Police were alerted to the incident and discovered that the first man had entered the tanker in an attempt to retrieve a piece of equipment, only to lose consciousness and fall in.
The second man then tried to assist the first individual, but unfortunately suffered the same fate, losing consciousness and falling into the tanker as well.
Emergency services including COCVAC Ambulance, the Clinton Fire Department, and Mercy Flight responded to the scene and provided medical attention to the two men. Despite being rushed to Wynn Hospital for further treatment, both individuals were later pronounced deceased.
The deceased have been identified as 33-year-old Nathan Doody of DeRuyter and 29-year-old Tyler Memory of Tully.
