On the first of July in 1986, Nancy was given a full-time position with the Dennis Fire Department, which marked the beginning of her journey. She served the Town of Dennis with dignity, distinction, and unflinching dedication for more than 34 years over the course of her official career.
It was during Nancy’s time as a Call Firefighter with the Brewster Fire Department that she first became interested in the field of firefighting and emergency medical services. Prior to her employment with the Dennis Fire Department, she had already served in this capacity. Nancy was a bright example of professionalism, honesty, and courage throughout her successful career. As a result, she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues as well as the community that she served.
