(PINPOINT WEATHER) — It was a warm, dry and breezy Saturday, keeping the fire danger high around the region. The risk gets lower, however, starting Sunday as rain chances return.
Yes, some much-needed rain is on the way! A few isolated showers can’t be ruled out early Sunday morning, but the best chance of rain comes after lunch and through the evening. We’ll get scattered showers and possibly a couple of storms, but nothing severe is expected until possibly Monday. Highs will still reach the low and mid-70s.

Monday’s rain and storm chances will also be highest in the afternoon and evening as the cold front moves in. We could see a line of storms, some of which could produce damaging wind, hail, and even a tornado. It’s a day to stay extra weather aware!

We’ll be briefly drier and only a bit cooler behind the front Tuesday, but rain & storm chances look to return mid to late week. We’ll also get hotter—mid-80s for highs by next weekend!
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible. Breezy. Low 60.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with mainly PM showers and storms. High 75.
