ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 28-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash on Saturday afternoon, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, officers responded to the 2100 block of Cherry Road about an accident between a Kawasaki motorcycle and a Ford truck.
The 28-year-old motorcyclist, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries, officials said.
Investigators believe the driver of the Ford failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn which caused the collision.
Police did not say if the driver stayed at the scene or if they will be charged. The incident is still under investigation.
