Morris Felton,Craig Robinson Obituary, Death; – The individuals who were fatally shot in the California neighborhood of Louisville in December have been named.
Officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the incident in the 2200 block of Garland Avenue, close to Dr. W. J. Hodge Street, at approximately 7:23 p.m. on December 21, 2024.
Upon their arrival, they discovered five men who had sustained gunshot wounds. Two of these men were declared dead at the scene, while the remaining three were transported to University Hospital in serious but stable condition.
On Sunday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identities of the deceased as 61-year-old Morris Felton and 62-year-old Craig Robinson. Abrahem Balata has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
The 39-year-old was identified by one of the surviving victims, as stated in the arrest citation. The citation further details that Balata entered the detached garage of the residence and shot all five victims “with the intent to cause death. Balata’s bond has been set at $1 million in cash, and he is scheduled to appear in court again on January 24.
