Morgan Verdeja Obituary, Death – It was in the evening of March 31, 2024 when Morgan Rose Verdeja, who was 17 years old, died suddenly. On November 12, 2006, Morgan Verdeja was born, and in April of 2010, she became a member of the family in the Verdeja family. Morgan, who was 17 years old at the time, was a gifted artist who enjoyed experimenting with a variety of creative mediums. She had also been a gymnast and tumbler in the past.
Spending time with her family and friends was something that she looked forward to doing. She was a person who was not afraid to speak her mind, funny, and had a lot of aspirations and interests. Following her graduation from high school, Morgan had the intention of relocating to a beach or island town since she enjoyed spending time at the beach and in the water. She fought post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and despair for a number of years, but ultimately she was unsuccessful and took her own life on Sunday evening.
Morgan is survived by her parents, Wende June Verdeja and Samuel James Verdeja; her stepmother, Natasha Jo Verdeja; her older brother, Trae Robert Nelson Verdeja; and her older sisters, Chloe Claudette, Tabitha Jean, and Cailey Renee Verdeja; her younger brother, Jude Joseph Verdeja; her grandparents, Donna and Paul Rockwell; and a large number of extended family members and friends. The death of her younger brother Mckien Michael Burch, who died away in April 2018, comes before her in the line of succession.
With Pastor Terrence Moody serving as the officiant, funeral services are scheduled to take place at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at eleven o’clock in the morning. Since 10:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony, the family will be there to greet guests. Trae Wegener, Lonnie Nelson, Collin Campbell, Zach Wegener, Christopher Verdeja, Alika Verdeja, Kamakani Verdeja, and Alex Verdeja will serve as honorary pallbearers during the funeral service. It is suggested that memorial donations be sent to the Standing in the Gap Ministries or the Refuge on Ming Ministries, and memorial gifts should be placed in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.
