(PINPOINT WEATHER) — We have a quiet start to the work week with clear and cold conditions locked in around the Queen City. Temperatures have settled into the 20s and 30s this Monday morning, with light and variable winds on tap for this Monday.
Sunshine will dominate as highs make a run for the upper 50s through the peak heating hours of the day on Monday. This lands just a bit below normal for this time of year, but temperatures will warm up as we head into mid-week.

Monday night gets cold again, dipping into the mid-30s heading into Tuesday morning. Clouds will build on Tuesday as temperatures rebound into the mid-60s. A low-pressure system will track east, sparking storms across our gulf states, and track toward the Carolinas for Wednesday.
Wednesday will be a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day as rain and storms roll through early in the morning ahead of an approaching cold front. These storms will have the potential to pack a punch in the form of damaging winds, but an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.

We’ll still make a run for the low 70s on Wednesday before the 50s and 60s finish off the work week. Sunshine will return Thursday ahead of party cloudy skies Friday with dry conditions lasting until the end of the week.
This weekend will be in the 60s with partly cloudy skies and an unsettled pattern returning.
