(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening and happy Sunday Funday!
While we continue to deal with some wildfires in the western part of the state, it was another fabulous day across the Carolinas. While showers are in the forecast for the morning commute Monday, overall the upcoming week will be pleasant across the region with more warm weather and little in the way of showers.
As for tonight and your Monday, mostly clear skies this evening will give to increasing clouds overnight. Early in the morning Monday showers and rain will move associated with a weak cold front moving through the Carolinas. This will make for a wet morning commute across the region with lows in the mid-50s. The showers should clear out by lunch with some clearing in the afternoon along with highs in the low 70s.
Besides Monday, the rest of the week looks pretty dry across the Carolinas along with comfortable temperatures. There is a small chance of a couple of showers on Tuesday as a weak clipper system moves through the Carolinas. Otherwise, dry weather is expected the rest of the week with high temperatures hovering around the 70-degree mark. But next weekend, we are poised to get even warmer with highs potentially pushing to the 80 degree mark.
So, if you love comfortable temperatures, enjoy the upcoming week! Have a great night!
