(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good evening and happy Sunday Funday!
As we close out the weekend, it has been an active day across the Carolinas with several severe storms and a few tornado warnings as well. After drying out tonight, sunny skies and cooler temperatures are on the way to start the week. Temperatures will quickly warm back up for the middle of the week before another cold front arrives on Thursday.
As for tonight and your Monday, any stormy weather this evening will clear out by midnight, followed by clear skies to kick off the week. Temperatures will be much cooler with lows in the 40s and highs Monday afternoon only pushing into the low 60s. While temperatures will be on the cool side, we are expecting ample sunshine across the region.

While we are in for a cold start on Tuesday with lows in the 30s, we should quickly rebound back into the 70s by the afternoon hours with more sunshine.
Wednesday will be even warmer, with highs back towards pushing 80 degrees and partly cloudy skies.

Thursday, our next cold front will arrive with a possible shower or two along with cooler temperatures down in the 60s. Expect highs in the 60s to continue into next weekend as well.
In the meantime, have a great evening and grab the jacket tomorrow! Have a great week!
