GASTONIA, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Officials are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who went missing from Gastonia.
Thomas Alexander Waterson, 84, was seen driving a gold 2017 Ford Escape with the North Carolina license plate TVM1239 away from Kinmere Drive in Gastonia, according to the NC Center for Missing Persons.
Mr. Waterson may be impacted by a cognitive impairment. He is described as a white man standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing about 127 pounds. He has blue eyes and short gray hair.
He wears glasses and a watch with a brown band and clue casing. Mr. Waterson was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid shirt, navy blue jeans, and white Nike sneakers with read and blue stripes.
His Ford Escape was last seen on camera around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, in Cherryville, driving toward Fallston. The vehicle has a dent in the front driver’s side fender. Police believe he may be headed somewhere in Cherryville or Fallston.
