An investigation into Aimee Lafakis’s disappearance was initiated after she was reported missing by her family. According to a report, Aimee Welch Lafakis, who is 48 years old, has been missing since last Friday.

Her family has been putting posters with her photo all over the city. They claim that after that she stopped responding to their messages and ignored them. Stephen claims that the last time he saw her, she was at the apartment she rented in the MAA Glen complex. On Friday, Lafakis was set to have dinner with her daughter at a restaurant. Her daughter tried calling her mother’s workplace, but she received no response, so she ended up going there anyhow
There was no trace of Aimee, despite the fact that her car was waiting for her there. After that, somebody informed the Brookhaven police department that she was missing, out of worry that she had met an untimely end as a result of her disappearance.
Saturday was spent in large part by detectives going door to door in the complex and questioning residents about whether or not they had observed anything out of the ordinary.
