On Thursday, September 26, 2024, early in the morning, Minerva “Minnie Mo” Loredo, a cherished security guard at Vanguard Academy in the Mission Independent School District (ISD), departed from this life. Minnie was well-known for her contagious grin, bright attitude, and intense love of music. Her untimely death had a significant effect on the Mission community as well as others. Family, friends, coworkers, and fellow artists honor her bravery, fortitude, and everlasting love for everyone in her immediate vicinity as they consider her extraordinary legacy.

Minerva Loredo had a happy, hardworking life with a strong feeling of community. As a security officer at Mission ISD’s Vanguard Academy, Minnie frequently greeted guests, staff, and kids as soon as they arrived. She enjoyed her job and made sure everyone in her care was safe and secure while greeting them with a smile and encouraging words. Apart from her official responsibilities, Minnie was renowned for her lively disposition and the connections she fostered within the educational institution. She was more than simply a security guard; she also supported, friended, and mentored the youngsters under her daily watch.
But Minnie was much more than Vanguard Academy’s function. She was also a skilled drummer, and her friends and family lovingly referred to her as “Minnie Mo.” Every drum beat revealed her profound love for music, especially Tejano music. Minnie performed with a number of bands over the years, most notably El Magico Show Tejano Radio. She was well-liked in the community’s music scene due to her expertise and love of music, and many appreciated her for her kindness and warmth as well as her skill.
