Mina Pinson Obituary, Death; – One individual has lost their life in an accident in Pike County, Kentucky.
As reported by the Kentucky State Police, the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday along Penny Highway in Virgie. Authorities indicate that two vehicles were involved in the collision.
According to KSP, a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee veered into the opposing lane, colliding with a 2017 Kia Sorento. The driver of the Sorento, identified by KSP as Mina Pinson, was declared deceased at the scene.
The Kentucky State Police is currently conducting an investigation into the accident. Assistance at the scene was provided by the Shelby Valley Volunteer Fire Department, Lifeguard Ambulance Service, and the Floyd County Coroner’s Office.
