Milan Jones Obituary, – A homicide investigation has been launched following a tragic domestic violence incident, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old woman. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Willington Street in North Philadelphia and was reported as a medical emergency early Saturday morning at around 4 a.m. Upon arrival, police discovered the woman unresponsive on the second floor of a residence, with signs of blunt force trauma.
Despite efforts from medics, she was pronounced dead at the scene and later identified as Milan Jones, a student at Temple University. Tymir Lackey, a 21-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the investigation, which has determined the incident to be a result of domestic violence.
