Mike Wasson Obituary, Death; – The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a collision with a tree south of Fowler on Saturday.
As reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), they received a call at approximately 3 p.m. on January 11 regarding a vehicle that had struck a tree near the intersection of Dinuba and Fowler avenues in Fresno County.
According to law enforcement officials, the motorcyclist, identified by the coroner as 55-year-old Mike Wasson from Fresno County, was traveling east on Dinuba Avenue, just west of Fowler Avenue, when he unexpectedly veered to the right and crashed into a tree.
Investigators confirmed that Wasson was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP suspects that the rider may have experienced a medical episode prior to the accident; however, the coroner’s office has stated that this cannot be confirmed at this time.
