Miguel Angel Moreno Obituary, Death;- A 29-year-old woman was apprehended this week following allegations that she deliberately instigated a collision in Fort Worth, resulting in the death of her romantic partner.
Emily Garcia was taken into custody by law enforcement on Monday afternoon and subsequently booked into the Tarrant County jail on a charge of murder, according to official records. As of Wednesday morning, she remained in custody.
Authorities responded to a significant accident around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday in the 3400 block of Northeast 28th Street, close to David Drive, where they discovered two injured men, as reported by the police.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a medical facility. The condition of the surviving victim was not immediately available as of Wednesday morning. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the deceased as 34-year-old Miguel Angel Moreno, whose death was classified as a homicide, according to records.
The police case number associated with Moreno’s death corresponds with the case number linked to Garcia’s arrest. During the investigation of the crash, officers detained a suspect believed to be responsible for the incident and later confirmed that she was in a relationship with Moreno.
