All of his loved ones, including his cherished sister Kathy Montgomery, his parents Charles Gerard and Marylee McDevitt Keefe, and his niece Kelley Keefe, had already passed away a significant amount of time before Mike. Mike was the only member of his family to have made it through the terrible event alive. Mike, on the other hand, was the only member of his immediate family to have survived past the time of his passing. He was the only one still alive.

He was always there to support his family. His family could always count on him to be there for them. His loved ones knew they could depend on him to be there for them at all times.
Even when he approached his later years, he never ceased demonstrating his support for Paige and Ben in every part of their lives. He was always there for everything they did. Despite the fact that he was getting older, he continued to do this. Every single time, he never stopped showing his support for the cause.
