Michael Henderson Death – Highway 6, connecting Bryan and Hearne, experienced a closure lasting over three hours on Sunday afternoon (June 9) due to a collision that resulted in the death of one driver and injuries to four individuals in another vehicle. According to the department of public safety, the incident occurred when a car attempting a u-turn was struck from behind by a second car.
Tragically, the driver involved in the u-turn was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to their injuries. The deceased has been identified as Michael Henderson, a 64-year-old resident of Bryan. The driver and three passengers in the second car were transported to a Bryan hospital with suspected severe injuries.
The collision was reported at 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, taking place on Highway 6 in Robertson County near Old Bryan Highway, which lies between Bryan and Hearne. The scene was fully cleared by 4 p.m.
