Michael Gallagher Obituary, Death Cause – At the time of his passing on August 26, 2023, Michael J. Gallagher, 61 years old, of Savannah, Georgia, was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home. Thomas and Maryellen (Kennedy) Gallagher welcomed their son into the world on April 19, 1962, in Savannah, Georgia. He was their son. Michael spent his childhood in Sudbury, Massachusetts, and received his high school diploma from Lincoln Sudbury Regional. For a period of time following his graduation from high school, he worked in a variety of culinary professions. Subsequently, he took a break from the sector and began working at Teleflex, where he eventually met his future wife, Teri. In the town of Rindge, New Hampshire, on September 2, 2002, Mike and Teri tied the knot. After that, he went on to work at a variety of local cooking enterprises, with his most recent post being that of Culinary Director at Scott-Farrar in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
In the state of New Hampshire, Mike was serving as the Detachment Commander of the Sons of the American Legion. He was actively working in this capacity. Over the course of countless hours, he put his cooking skills to use by donating his services for virtually any event that required his assistance. Everyone who knew Mike was aware of his kind and generous nature, and they would state that he would do all he could to assist you in any way he could.
His wife of twenty years, Teri Gallagher, of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, his children Christopher Gallagher and his companion Tricia of Wichita, Kansas, Dylan Gallagher and his wife Sara of Roxbury, New Hampshire, and Shannon Gallagher of Virginia, his father, Thomas Gallagher and his wife Eleanor of Southern Pines, North Carolina, his mother, Maryellen Gallagher of Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, his siblings Joseph Gallagher of Boxborough, Massachusetts, Daniel Gallagher and his wife Cathy of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, Alexander Gallagher and his wife Correl of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Matthew Gallagher and his wife Debra of Medfield, Massachusetts, and Elizabeth Gallagher of New York, New York, will forever remember Michael. Jameson Gallagher, his grandson, as well as a large number of relatives, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members, and friends.
The Cournoyer Funeral Home, located at 33 River Street in Jaffrey, New Hampshire 03452, will be hosting a calling hour on Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Family and friends are cordially welcome to attend. On Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, there will be a Celebration of Life held at the American Legion, which is located at 20 Webster Street in Jaffrey, New Hampshire.
