Michael Flint Death – Authorities have identified the airboat captain who died in a crash on the Peace River in DeSoto County on Saturday. Michael Flint of Buckingham, Florida, was named as the victim by Lee County deputies.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) reported that Flint had two other passengers on board. They suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
NBC2 revealed that Flint was a father of two and the owner of an air conditioning company. The identities of the two injured passengers have not been disclosed, and there is no update on their current condition.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation is ongoing.
