Michael Fitts Obituary, Death; – A man who lost his life in a collision on Thursday morning, north of Olivet, has been named as Michael Fitts, aged 68, from Charlotte.
According to the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, Fitts was traveling south on Battle Creek Highway shortly before 9 a.m. when his SUV struck another SUV that was traveling north on Ainger Road.
Officials reported that Fitts was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the northbound SUV was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.
