For a considerable amount of time, he had been a resident of Bluefield. He had lived in Bluefield for a lengthy amount of time, and he had considered it his home. At the time of his birth on February 6, 1948 in Caroline County, Virginia, he was the youngest of seven children that were born to the late Robert and Grace Hamlett Doggett. He was the youngest of the seven children. Before he was born, both of his parents had already passed away. His age was the youngest of the seven children, making him the youngest of the group. A wide variety of activities, including traveling on vacation with his family, cooking, going to the beach, and watching sports, particularly the West Virginia Mountaineers, were among his favorite things to do in his spare time. A gathering of the family will take place at the Mercer Funeral Home on the evening of Tuesday, March 23, 2021, commencing at six o’clock and running until eight o’clock. The gathering will take place on the day of the funeral. This event is being held with the intention of meeting and greeting anyone who might be present at this time.
At 11:30 in the morning on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, the funeral ceremony that is scheduled to take place will be held at the Mercer Funeral Home. This site will serve as the setting for the funeral service. There was never a single instance in which either the date or the time of the event was altered. Pastor Steve Branch, who will act in this role, will also preside over the ceremony. He will serve in this capacity simultaneously. The burial service that will be held will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia, which will serve as the last destination. The funeral service will be attended by a group of persons, including Austin Snellings and his grandkids Derek, Logan, Brayden, Daniel, Gabriel, and Camden.
