Authorities reported that the shooting occurred shortly before 3 a.m. within the confines of the 10100 block of East Hibiscus Street. Upon receiving a ShotSpotter alert, law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene and discovered a man inside a vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical responders from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue promptly attended to the victim, transporting him to Jackson South Medical Center in critical condition. Despite efforts to save his life, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
