A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Collins & Johnson Funeral Home, where family and friends will have the opportunity to gather, share stories, and remember Melissa. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Rosewood Cemetery in Conroe, Texas. Pastor Willie Sears will serve as the eulogist and officiant, guiding us through this time of mourning and remembrance.
As we say goodbye to Melissa, we ask that you hold her memory in your heart and honor her by living each day with kindness, love, and compassion—just as she did. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity in Melissa’s name, or trees may be planted in her memory through the Sympathy Store, a fitting tribute to her love for nature and the world around her.
