Megan Vilardi Death – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in northern San Diego County over the weekend. The deceased, Megan Vilardi, 40, was riding a Harley-Davidson when the incident took place at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Sunday. The crash happened at the intersection of Via Monserate and Linda Vista in Fallbrook, as confirmed by the California Highway Patrol and the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
According to Officer Hunter Gerber of the CHP, the Harley Davidson overturned for reasons that are currently under investigation, resulting in the female rider colliding with a nearby retaining wall. Following the accident, Vilardi, a resident of Fallbrook, was immediately transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival, as stated by the medical examiner.
Officer Gerber also mentioned that there is no indication of alcohol or drug involvement in the cause of this collision.
