Megan Guerra Obituary – “”You were an incredible inspiration and played an influential role in finding my passion for the arts and that spark of creativity, during my years at Trinity High School. From French class, to photography and yearbook meetings, your passion for support and teaching shined bright everyday! You shaped mine and so many students lives throughout your career. I am honored that I can consider myself as someone whom you played an integral part of my high school years. You’ll forever be missed by your beloved students that you helped shaped into being the best versions of themselves. You are more than just a teacher, you are role model to so many.””
With profound sadness we share the news of the passing of Megan Guerra, a beloved teacher who taught at Trinity for over ten years. Madame Guerra taught French with enthusiasm and creativity. Her classroom was one that was always filled with interactive and engaging lessons where students looked forward to the French flair she added to everything she did. She could always be found on the sidelines with camera in hand – or enjoying a play or concert performed by a Pioneer.
As a fellow faculty member, Megan looked over everyone with as much love and care as she did for her students. Sharing her baked goods, jellies and homemade pesto on a regular rotation- we would happily return the canning jar to have it be retuned again with another treat. She always offered assistance and mentorship to her colleagues. A true friend in times of need. Above all this, Megan was an amazing mother and wife. The entire Trinity community mourns this loss and extend our prayers to Guerra Family as they navigate this devastating loss. After a courageous, brutal 6 month battle with cancer, Megan Guerra passed away on Friday surrounded by her family. Rest in peace Megan, you have impacted so many.
