McKinley Johnson Jr Death – Kansas City, Missouri, authorities are currently investigating a deadly shooting that took place early Monday morning. According to the police, a man was fatally shot on a sidewalk in the vicinity of Truman and Grand at approximately 12:45 a.m. During the investigation, law enforcement discovered two additional victims of the shooting in a parking lot behind a nearby establishment. Both women were taken to the hospital by medics for medical attention.
Authorities noted the presence of a large crowd at the scene of the incident. The victim has been identified as 28-year-old McKinley Johnson Jr. A neighboring business owner, who chose not to be filmed, expressed concerns about the impact of the violence on her business.
“After our online operations cease, the physical store closes, and I make an effort not to stay around for too long,” the business owner stated. “I believe people don’t feel secure, and as a result, they opt for dining out or ordering online.”
The business owner also suggested that violent incidents are more likely to occur during the evening hours, following a night of drinking in the downtown area.
