There are TikTok posts claiming that Matthew Sturniolo, one of the most well-known online triplet YouTubers and social media stars, has died. He was claimed to have been murdered by his brother, Nicholas Sturniolo, who was sentenced to life in jail. It has been proven that Matthew is alive, and everything was a dark joke.
What happened?
The Sturniolos posted a video that appeared to show Matthew eating poisoned food and passing out, which is now known as the “poison prank.” That’s when it all began. It’s obvious from watching the original poison prank film that it’s a hoax, but as these things occasionally get viral online, they gain momentum thanks to edits that allude to the purported events.
A second Sturniolo death hoax surfaced earlier in the spring of 2024, with reports circulating that Christopher Sturniolo had perished in an automobile accident. People reportedly trusted a Photoshopped news report that said Chris had passed away.
The trio of Sturniolo triplets is still alive and thriving.
