Mary Marquardt Obituary, Death – We are all saddened by Mary Kennedy Marquardt’s passing because she was such a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. On September 14, 2023, Mary, often known as Granny Mary or Aunt Mary, passed away, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and good food. Her passing creates a void that cannot be filled because she was the last Kennedy sibling.
Mary’s life was profoundly influenced by her dedication to her family. She had the gift of making everyone, whether they were family or friends, feel like they were the only ones in the world. Her generosity and friendliness knew no bounds, and the sound of her infectious chuckle could make anyone’s day better. She fostered feelings of love and togetherness wherever she went.
Mary is most often thought of in relation to her prowess in the kitchen. Her cooking was magnificent, and the atmosphere in the kitchen was enchanted. Her recipes were handed down from generation to generation, which is a testament to both her ingenuity and her devotion. In the same way that Mary did, her mouthwatering lasagnas and apple pies drew the community closer together.
at honor of Mary’s passion for spending time with her loved ones over a good meal, we will be conducting a Celebration of Life at Waterloo Park on September 23 at 1:00 p.m. The gathering will pay tribute to the love and joy that she brought into our lives. We are going to remember Mary, celebrate her beautiful soul, and tell tales about her. Food is something that Mary would have enjoyed, and as a result, there will be food. The meal will consist of her most beloved dishes and recipes. All of those whose lives Aunt Mary touched—whether as friends, relatives, or acquaintances—have been invited to this happy occasion.
