Marquis Deangelo Price, Daria Linay Gudger Obituary – Two individuals lost their lives in a car collision in Lawrence during the early hours of Sunday. At approximately 3 a.m., officers from the Lawrence Police Department were dispatched to the scene of the tragic incident at the junction of 56th Street and Edlou Place, near Lawrence Central High School.
Upon arrival, the LPD confirmed the deaths of both occupants involved in the single-vehicle accident. Medical personnel pronounced them deceased at the scene.
The victims of the crash have been identified by the coroner’s office as Marquis Deangelo Price, aged 31, and Daria Linay Gudger, aged 20.
The LPD’s Investigation Division is currently looking into the circumstances surrounding the collision. The LPD is urging all motorists to drive with caution and obey traffic regulations in order to prevent such fatal accidents from occurring in the future.
