Marquez Ebron Obituary, Death;- The individual who succumbed to injuries from a stabbing incident outside a bar on West Main Street has been identified as a 27-year-old resident of the area. Marquez Ebron passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday morning, approximately four hours after law enforcement responded to reports of an assault outside Café 457.
At around 2 a.m., Ebron and a 22-year-old male were engaged in a confrontation with others outside the establishment when they were attacked. The 22-year-old was subsequently taken to Waterbury Hospital, where he received treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to Waterbury Police Lt. Ryan Bessette.
During the investigation, officers learned of a second victim, later confirmed to be Ebron, who had been brought to the emergency room at Saint Mary’s Hospital with stab wounds. Ebron was declared deceased at 6:09 a.m. on Saturday. Authorities believe that this incident was isolated and arose from a personal conflict, as stated by Bessette.
