Marquell Reddic Obituary, – Rockford Police are seeking two individuals believed to be involved in the murder of Marquell Reddic, 29, who was fatally shot on Haskell Avenue last Wednesday. Eric Townsend, Sr, 51, and Timothy Chapman, 42, have been identified as the suspects in the case by investigators. Both men are facing charges of First Degree Murder.
Law enforcement responded to a call about a shooting at a residence in the 1000 block of Haskell at approximately 6:11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26th. Upon arrival, they discovered Reddic on the sidewalk, having sustained gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at a nearby hospital.
