Markayla Robinson, 25, of Riviera Beach, Florida, passed away on June 7, 2024. Born on September 18, 1998, in West Palm Beach, she was the cherished daughter of Anthony and Jasmine Robinson. Markayla graduated from Suncoast Community High School in 2016, where she excelled academically and was an active member of the school’s dance team. She studied Nursing at Florida Atlantic University, graduating in 2020.
Markayla worked as a registered nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to her patients. Her vibrant personality and love for life were evident in her many hobbies, including dancing, painting, and volunteering at local shelters. Her friends and family remember her for her radiant smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love for those around her.
Markayla is survived by her parents, Anthony and Jasmine; her siblings, Taylor and Jordan Robinson; her grandparents, Robert and Linda Matthews, and Samuel and Patricia Robinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved aunt, Michelle Robinson.
A celebration of Markayla’s life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Riviera Beach Community Church, with a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. before the service. Instead of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Markayla’s memory. Markayla’s vibrant presence and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who know her.
