Mario Garcia Aquino Arrested; – As the investigation into the death of a 13-year-old boy in Oxnard progresses, a man recognized by family as the teen’s soccer coach has been taken into custody on an unrelated charge.
Eyewitness News has reported that Mario Garcia Aquino, 43, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a sexual assault case that was under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department last year. Reports indicate that the coach was interrogated regarding the disappearance of Oscar Omar Hernandez.
Officials have stated that Aquino has not been arrested or charged in relation to the boy’s death.
