Marie Cahalin Obituary – There is a tremendous sense of loss that has been left within the community as a result of the passing of Marie Cahalin (née Higgins) Clonfert, who resided in Dublin. Her children, Declan and Brendan, as well as her daughter Siobhán, her sister Helen, and the rest of her extended family, are very saddened by her departure. The visitation for Marie will take place at Oliver Reilly’s Funeral Home on Leinster Street in Maynooth on Monday from 4 to 7 o’clock in the evening.
After that, she will be transferred to St. Coca’s Church in Kilcock on Tuesday for a Funeral Mass at 1.30 o’clock in the afternoon. This will give loved ones the opportunity to pay their respects. A live webcast of the Mass will be available on the website kilcockandnewtownparish for anyone who are unable to attend in person.That is, a reflection of the far-reaching effects that Marie’s life had.
In the midst of this tragedy, we cannot ignore the tremendous elegance and bravery that Marie shown throughout her life. Her unfailing optimism and strength, which she maintained even in the face of adversity, served as a significant source of motivation for everyone who knew her. Marie’s presence brought unlimited compassion and brightness into the lives of everyone around her, elevating them above and beyond the realm of simple optimism.
The vacuum that her passing has created cannot be filled, but the legacy that she has left behind of love, empathy, and authenticity will continue to inspire many hearts for all time. As we make our way through this time of worldwide loss, let us take comfort in the enduring legacy that Marie has left behind for us. It is possible that she is no longer physically here among us;
Yet, her spirit will continue to motivate and direct us, serving as a constant reminder to live life to the fullest and to leave behind footprints of love, hope, and goodwill. Let us celebrate life and work toward making the world a better place in our own special ways as a means of paying tribute to Marie’s memory. Abraham Lincoln once said, “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count; it’s the life in your years.” This is a profoundly sensible statement.
This attitude was exemplified by Marie’s life, which contained an abundance of vitality and was lived with a sense of purpose. Have a peaceful rest, Marie. In spite of the fact that you have passed away, your spirit will continue to live on in our hearts forever, serving as a source of motivation for us to conduct our lives with elegance, bravery, and compassion.
