Maria Jimenez Rosas Death – Maria Jimenez Rosas, a 56-year-old Santa Rosa resident, was identified as the victim of a fatal head-on collision on Guerneville Road. The collision occurred at 5:39 a.m. on Monday when a BMW X6 crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Toyota Rav4. The impact resulted in Rosas’ death and significant damage to both vehicles.
The BMW driver, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was arrested for driving under the influence. Following treatment at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, the driver will face charges including felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter. The driver’s identity has not been released.
