Maria Jarmaillo-Silva Death – The Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman, Nicholas Prange, reported that Maria Jarmaillo-Silva, a 22-year-old woman, was killed in a two-vehicle collision in South Los Angeles.
The incident also critically injured a 20-year-old man.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at 5720 S. Figueroa St., near 58th Street, at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
They used hydraulic tools to free the two trapped victims.
Maria Jarmaillo-Silva was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by Prange and the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Additionally, a 5-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries and was hospitalized.
