Marcus Earl Howard Obituary, Kansas cyclist dies from injuries sustained in vehicle accident; A Kansas man died from injuries sustained in an accident just before noon on Tuesday in Neosho County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that Marcus Earl Howard, 39, of Chanute, was driving a 2016 Chevy Camaro southbound on Santa Fe Avenue.
Harvey Morris Love, 67, also of Chanute, was riding a westbound bicycle when he struck the side rear of the Camaro as it made a right turn into Santa Fe Park.
Emergency Medical Services transported Love to KU Medical Center, where he died on Wednesday. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
