Marco Alvarado,Christon Aponte Obituary, Death; – On Saturday, January 18, 2025, at approximately 7:34 p.m., officers from the Mobile Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on Theodore Dawes Road at I-10. Upon their arrival, law enforcement personnel found three male individuals suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
Further investigation revealed that the three victims had been engaged in a physical confrontation with a known male individual while they were stopped at the overpass.
During this altercation, a second male individual discharged a firearm, striking each of the victims. Both assailants fled the scene in separate vehicles prior to the arrival of the police. The deceased victims have been identified as Marco Alvarado, aged 24, Christon Aponte, aged 30, and Angel Esparra, aged 28.
