Authorities in Louisiana are on high alert as a manhunt is underway for four inmates who escaped from the Tangipahoa Parish Jail, located just north of New Orleans. The escapees include Travon Johnson, 21, and Omarion Hookfin, 19, both from Natalbany, Louisiana, and Avery Guidry, 19, from Hammond, Louisiana. All three are suspects in a 2022 homicide case in Hammond. The fourth escapee, Jamarcus Cyprian, 20, of Amity, Louisiana, was serving time for armed robbery and firearms offenses and had additional charges for aggravated violence while incarcerated in Catahoula Parish.
