Man killed In Co. Kerry Attack-Arrest Made And Probe Launched: A guy was discovered dead in the early hours of the morning in a hamlet in County Kerry, and an arrest has been made. The guy, in his 40s, was discovered dead from his injuries after an incident that happened at Knockanure early on May 27.
According to them, “all the circumstances” surrounding his death are being looked into by the Gardaí. “Gardaí and emergency services were notified about an alleged assault in the Knockanure village area at around 12:30 in the morning,” they said.
“A man in his 40s was found to have fatal injuries upon arrival. He was declared dead at the spot, and his corpse has been sent to University Hospital Kerry’s morgue for a postmortem examination. A man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with the incident the police force have confirmed.
He is currently detained at a Garda Station in the Kerry Division. “A senior investigating officer (SIO) has been appointed to lead the inquiry, and an incident room has been established at Listowel Garda Station,” the force added, before appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
